Um. He has said over and over during the 2008 election that he is pro-life because he has realized that the science behind life indicates that it begins at conception. I'm not sure what else you'd want him to do.

@rmeryhew1 I'd like my president to be a skeptic and not talk to any invisible friends. Since that is not going to happen my second choice would be any religion not invented by an ignorant farmboy who thinks putting 'and it came to pass' 10 times on every page of his fabricated scripture makes him sound authentic and realizes that horses, swords, chariots, silk, sheep and Jews didn't exist in pre-Columbian America. And, oh yeah, no religion made up by a science fiction writer either.

What about the part of the constitution that says that there shall be no religious test for office holders? What about the right of freedom of religion? The religion of Mitt Romney has no more bearing on his ability to be President then on weather he prefers Coke or Pepsi! BIGOT!

What comes out of a woman is always a baby. It's never a tree, never a whale, never a swan. When the fetus actually "becomes" human does not remove it's constitutional rights just like constitutional rights are not removed after we are a corpse. The The womb is not another country where there is another sovereign who rules and can determine the right of life or death over another. The courts are just plain wrong and out of line on this topic.

Obama, Biden, and pelosi were quoted against the debt ceiling in 2006. Now that it is convenient for them, they want it raised. The thing with Romney is just a change of heart and a lot of what you say is hypotheticals. Most people change in a matter of 15 years to some degree. And what Romney chose to change is for the better, and doesn't need to be criticized because it contradicts your personal beliefs.

A - I have a hard time find credibility in a website called salon. B - if a president is suppose to represent the people why do you have issue with him changing his opinion on abortion to the nation majority who oppose it. You would think you would want a president who listens to who they are governing.

It is your belief that it is wrong, it is their belief that it is right. If you want to tell them "no", you are imposing. You force your belief "They shouldn't be able to marry" on them. And while your other argument is quite irrelevent to the main topic, that is an example of someone elses beliefs getting imposed on you.
