There are other great beaches to visit in Sydney like: Manly, Watson's Bay or Cronulla.I highly recommend Darling Harbour, is in the hearth of Sydney, and its name says it all, you can find restaurants, cafes, casinos, and also all kind of entertainment for families. Blue Mountains are just one hour and a half away and they are cool as well.Don't forget to visit Harry de Wheels cafe in Woolloomoollo Bay, the greatest australian pies ever.Hugs from a Colombian who fell in love with Australia

I don't really think it was Sydney bashing. I think is was more an allusion to how big it is and that it is commonly mistaken as Australia's capital.

Well, its kinda unfair to say that we "strut around like the capital". That is a stupid thing to say. Is that like saying New York, Rio, Amsterdam and so on strut around as "the capital? Sydney is the BIGGEST city of Australia. Since when does struting around have anything to do with being the actual capital city of a country? This not an objective presentation.
