Root AceDhaka has over 7 million people in the area a small town takes up. They need rapid transit ASAP. I know that Bangladesh isn't the richest place in the world. But to prosper they will need a rapid transit line.

The local authourities should do something about the traffic. e.g. broaden the roads and build tunnels. Because that traffic is just insane.

@harleyharley2009 u are naive, and an idiot, if you compare Denver or Vancouver with New York city, then Vancouver is way way cleaner than nyc, and nyc is like the most conjusted overpopulated north american cities, with crimes, and many poor places.. Would u say that village of Vancouver is better than the world's most richest and glamorous city New York???

harley harley, haha what a strange name it is, whatever u are, first of all this is just a street of dhaka, and mumbai delhi are also overpopulated, karachi for example has more electricity probs , and i have been to karachi, there are barely any tall buildings taller than 10 storey is rare in that city, its a white city,, with big small houses and finally Dhaka is growing 3 times faster than Karachi and Mumbai.. They are making biggest mall in Asia, to be beaten by dubai soon..

The height of a building doesnt necessarily equate to a fantasic building, although it does help.. The irony is while B'desh may not have the tallest, the Sears Tower & John Hancok Center's structural engineer was FAZLUR RAHMAN KHAN (a B'deshi) LOL...BTW all that flooding in Manilla is starting to make it LOOK LIKE Dhaka.. No offence cupcake ;-) and according to pricewaterhousecoopers & others B'desh will be a top 10 economy.. so watch this space
