Description: This latest video from Mass Effect 2 features the Soldier character class and is again narrated by Lead Gameplay Designer Christina Norman. Not only is the Soldier the master of all weapons and specialty ammunition types, they also can use a concussive shot to knock enemies off their feat and use Adrenaline Rush to "slow" time while doing extra damage to targets.

Soldiers is the most broken class in the game that's why I love it so much. Hardcore and insanity are such cake walk.

Soldier has one more, funny but only apllicable to lower difficulties, use. When you use Adrenaline Rush, although your gun fires more slowly, your movement speed is the same, so you can zip across the battlefield while shooting to get to cover fast, but also the time slow doesn't affect melee, you can melee strike up to three times faster at the max level, combined with the 170% damage bonus, it's stupidly easy to deal with foes in your face XP.

this class is only useful for insanity (cause the experience wont be ruined like it will for other classes), other then that its the least fun.

if ur playing on a easy diffucultyit lets u get in peoples faces way more than being a vanguardcause u can get tech armor up to rank 4 and when it gets downed it knocks all enimies away for like 16 mtit has saved my ass or just bluntly destroyed the enimies

I played soldier on ME1 and rushed through the main storyline. What a waste I had no idea what I had missed with all the extra content and classes. Lol ME2 is better by leaps and bounds tho.

Got that right. But Vanguard is an alright class. of the classes I've played, the tactical cloak is my favorite power, followed by the biotic charge. tech armor just feels kinda cheap, doesn't really go with the other powers as something to use in the heat of battle to change the playing field. The tech armor is more like something you turn on at the start of a level, and just forget it's there.

@gettotheGate, yeah man i loved the infiltrator. with those sniper rifles, u could handle anything in seconds, puts the sentinal and vanguard class on their ass lol

I'd stick with the infiltrator class, the tactical cloak lets you get out of sticky situations. saved my life more times than I care to remember the first time i played insanity. Plus, you get to use the Black Widow, which takes down fully shielded collectors with one good shot, no chance for Harbinger to assume control.

The Light Machine gun is only for soldiers. Everybody else can choose training or one of the other two "ultimate" guns.
