NYC wall street is the commercial centre of the earth, one problem inside the wall street, the financial district of NYC, the entire worlds drenches into recession,, I have spend 2 years in Dubai. The city is smaller than Dhaka, lol. Its a small and growing city..Dubai Saudi dont even come in BBC CNN business report.. Even Mumbai comes from Asia

Most churches in the UK are "quiet" & "empty" too..I think thats more down too people not bothering going to churches than it being a place of tranquility, surely in an area that busy it would be a hive of activity.. if you wanted peace & tranquility my friend you should have gone to the countryside.. LOL.. I think old Dhaka needs to be demolished, seismologists predict an earthquake in the next 20 yrs in dhaka, govt needs to take action now to minsimise life loss,

@skillcentre.Dont act like a moron, Djew york's gdp is a 'mere' $440bn while Dubai's doubled in less than 4 years to $70 b. Djew york is rather poor as the financial capital of a 'rich' country, let alone the largest western city in the largest western country.It's Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi that can buy hundreds of Djew york with all their stashes of cash and dash away with the 'honey'.

i like your analogy with scubadiving however respite can be found in any religious building, peoples homes etc etc...the backdrop of the church symbolised for me that you could only find peace in a western setting with its particular ambience. ime sure ive read too much into it. thanks for visiting bangladesh.

This is what struck me about both Dhaka and New Delhi: drivers are constantly honking their horns (or bells)! It just goes to show how poorly traffic is organized. Go to a city like London or Brussels and you don't hear much honking, even during rush hour.

Dhaka is better than NYC!!! What!! NYC is the richest city in the world with total GDP of more than 1 trillion... It can actually buy 30 Dubai cities and 2 and half London city ,, lolz...(according to GDP statistics).. Its home to second higest billionaires and the biggest market for Porche,BMW and Mercedez cars .You,, whoever have claimed have NYC being bad probably lives in the poorer streets . !

hey thanks a lot for this video. the ultra-modernized parts of dhaka might seem attractive to most people but nothing beats the beauty and culture of old dhaka. my old dhaka rocks!
