Triple Album Collection

Review Albums included are: First And Last And Always, Floodland & Vision Thing.
Some Girls Wander By Mistake

Review Digitally remastered and expanded digipak reissue of this album, originally released in 1985 and recorded with the classic Eldritch/Hussey/Adams/Marx line-up. This line-up and, in particular, this album set the standard for Gothic/Alternative Rock for years to come. This re-issue has been remastered directly from the original studio tapes and has now been bolstered with six bonus tracks, one of which, 'Some Kind of Strange [Early]', is previously unreleased. Merciful. 2006.

A Slight Case Of Overbombing (Greatest Hits Vol. 1)

Review Out of print in the U.S.! Collection of all five early seven inch and twelve inch singles, both a and B-sides, released between 1980-1983 before the band signed to a major label. 19 tracks including the extremely rare 'The Damage Done', 'Watch' and 'Home of the Hit-Men', as well as the original extended version of 'Temple of Love', their covers of the Rolling Stones' 'Gimme Shelter' and the Stooges' '1969', plus 'Alice', 'Kiss the Carpet', 'Valentine', 'Floorshow', 'Phantom' and more. Warner.
Unknown Pleasures

Review A new set coming out this summer spotlights The Sisters of Mercy's third studio release, Vision Thing. Presented in an attractive slipcase, the set includes the original album and three 12" singles from the album, all pressed on 180-gram vinyl: "More," "Doctor Jeep," and "When You Don't See Me." Additional highlights include a non-album b-side, extended mix, and live recordings.

This hard-driving album has a feverish pace and dense atmosphereics, fueled by a potent combination of raw performances, fist-pumping rhythms, and political anger.
