American Ninja

Review Action star Michael Dudikoff (Avenging Force) shines as an inexperienced West Point graduate thrown into the hells of war in this gutsy, brutal look at the real Vietnam War. After arriving in Nam, he soon realizes that his knowledge of warfare in textbooks would get him and his men slaughtered on the real battlefields and quickly becomes a battle-hardened Platoon Leader his men can depend on. Aaron Norris (Delta Force 2) directed this action-packed war film featuring Michael DeLorenzo (TV's New York Undercover).

Ex-Marine Major Howard Toliver (Michael Dudikoff, River of Death) runs a high security prison in L.A. until he's ordered back into action back to Vietnam. A wealthy heiress has been kidnapped by a ruthless gang of bandits, Toliver agrees to the rescue mission, but only if he can take six of his prison's deadliest renegades with him. Now Toliver and his dirty half-dozen are on their way to a new kind of killing field, Nam in the 90s.
