Since the release of 'Empty Sky' in 1969, the name Elton John has been synonymous with a real musical talent unrivalled in today’s age of electronic ‘cut and pasting’. The fact that he has been in the forefront of the music profession for four decades is testament to the quality and timelessness of his craft.

A successful singer/songwriter in his own right, Elton John has produced work of an almost magical quality when paired with lyricist Bernie Taupin. Elton and Bernie collaborated on all the albums released from 1969 to 1977 after which they took a break to explore their individual projects. Their 1983 album 'Too Low For Zero' saw them back together again, to the joy of most listeners.

A pianist beyond compare, and a flamboyant nature has captured audiences worldwide. His wardrobe has calmed in his later years as has his music and he has taken different directions such as producing music for many movies. Perhaps his best known is 'Can You feel the Love Tonight', written for the Disney movie 'The Lion King'. A knack for producing music to attract the masses, Elton John is one of those artists you know will last forever.
